24th Annual Pine Trees Longboard Classic

After days of flat conditions, on April 20th, 2002, nature cooperated by providing perfect surf for the North Shore's favorite event. The most impressive display of great surfing took place at the 24th annual Pine Trees Classic.

This is when Kauai's surfing talent crawls out of the woodwork not just to win bragging rights for the next year, but to share a spirit of Aloha and sportsmanship unique to our community.
